CDKM brings extensive technical knowledge to the permit planning that provides seamless communication methods and builds relationships within each project team. CDKM provides the extra effort and attention necessary for any new development to succeed in the challenging Washington, D.C., market.

CDKM has processed hundreds of construction permits, which range from medium to large developments, both commercial and residential.  The client base ranges from real estate developers, architects to engineers. CDKM offers have created a cross-department focused specifically on reducing paper use throughout the permitting process from paying for permit fees to communicating the updates for each permit.   A resource for real-time project updates and permit documents related to the project.  An in-house online permit library infused with updates throughout the history of the project permitting.

Kim Mitchell
CEO/Owner

Kim Mitchell is the founder and CEO of CDKM Consulting, LLC, minority, woman-owned, District of Columbia-based company, licensed and insured.

A native Washingtonian and started CDKM Consulting in 2006 after 15 years as Realtor in the Great Washington area which includes years of working with local minority development company. While building her real estate career, she wanted to add her people-oriented business approach to the arduous real estate permitting process. Her problem-solving skills coupled with intricate knowledge of DC Real Estate market

Kim is most passionate about helping people make meaningful transitions while helping them achieve their goals for area development throughout the city.
